Factory Trial Assembly and Shipment of Layher Compatible Aluminum Ringlock Stage Platform for South America
Before temporary stage systems are shipped overseas, proper factory inspection and trial assembly help ensure that all structural components fit correctly and can be installed efficiently at the project site.
Recently, DragonStage completed the production, factory trial assembly and container loading of a batch of lightweight aluminum Ringlock stage platforms for a large outdoor concert project in South America.
One of the most important requirements for this project was that the platforms had to be compatible with the customer's existing Layher Ringlock stage system, allowing the customer to expand their current staging inventory without replacing the original support structure.

Factory Trial Assembly Before Shipment
Before packing the products into containers, a complete trial assembly was carried out inside our factory.
The objective was not only to inspect the finished products but also to verify that the aluminum stage platforms matched the Ringlock support system correctly.
During the trial assembly, our engineers checked:
- Platform dimensions
- Connection accuracy
- Surface alignment
- Structural stability
- Adjustable component installation
- Overall assembly efficiency
This inspection process helps reduce installation issues after the products arrive at the customer's project site.

Designed to Match Existing Layher Ringlock Structures
Many professional rental companies already own Layher Ringlock support structures.
Replacing an entire stage system would require significant investment.
Instead, this project focused on manufacturing aluminum stage platforms that integrate with the customer's existing Ringlock framework.
This approach allows the customer to:
- Expand existing stage inventory
- Replace worn platforms
- Continue using existing accessories
- Maintain familiar installation procedures
- Reduce overall project costs
Compatibility is often one of the most important engineering considerations for long-term equipment investment.
Efficient Container Loading for International Transportation
After the trial assembly and quality inspection were completed, the platforms were carefully packed into a 20GP shipping container.
To improve transportation efficiency, the loading team arranged the platforms in organized stacks that maximized container space while protecting the products during ocean transportation.
During loading, attention was given to:
- Stable stacking arrangement
- Even weight distribution
- Efficient use of container volume
- Secure cargo positioning
- Protection against movement during sea freight
Proper loading helps reduce the risk of scratches or deformation during long-distance international shipping.
Lightweight Design Improves Handling Efficiency
Compared with heavier traditional steel platforms, lightweight aluminum stage platforms provide several practical advantages.
These include:
- Easier manual handling
- Faster installation
- Reduced transportation weight
- Better corrosion resistance
- Lower maintenance requirements
For touring concerts and outdoor festivals where equipment is assembled repeatedly, reducing installation time can significantly improve operational efficiency.

Designed for Large Outdoor Concert Projects
The completed platforms will be used for large outdoor concert productions in South America.
Typical applications include:
- Touring concerts
- Music festivals
- Stadium events
- Government celebrations
- Cultural performances
- Commercial entertainment events
When integrated with our LED Stage Truss systems, the platforms form part of a complete temporary event infrastructure supporting lighting, audio and LED displays.
